Have you tried Stampin' Up!'s new Brusho Crystal Colour?
I did, and it is loads of fun…really
got my creative juices flowing.
So what is Brusho? Well, I think of
them as little buckets of watercolor goodness!
It’s actually a powdered form of watercolor ink that literally 'explodes'
when it comes in contact with water. Stampin’ Up! has five colors
available: brilliant red, moss green,
yellow, gamboge (red & yellow mixed) and Prussian blue.
1) You can sprinkle it into a palette and
make watercolor ‘pools’ to use with a brush.
2) You can sprinkle it onto a dry surface
and then add water, either with an aqua painter or spritz it on.
3) You can sprinkle it onto an already wet
surface.
The less powder you
apply, the lighter the hue. You only
need a couple drops to make a beautiful pastel, or use more powder for a deep,
rich color. You can mix colors together
to achieve a variety of colors; the possibilities are endless.
I created these cards on my first attempt at using Brusho…it's sooooo easy to get beautiful results!
Here are links to purchase the Brusho Crystal Colour set plus a couple tools that you can use when working with Brusho. If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love the opportunity to share in your creative journey! I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about what I've described in my blog or about any Stampin' Up! product.
